Abadeha is a Cinderella story from traditional Philippine folklore. Like many other Filipino folk tales, this story disappeared from mainstream Phillione folk literature… a casualty of more than 300 years of Spanish colonization and a century of Americanization. This beautiful tale is revived from its rich and indigenous roots thanks to a retelling by Myrna J. Deal Paz that inspired us to share it with you.
