Bridge Builders of Anchorage, along with the Alaska Institute for Justice, Alaska State Troopers, Anchorage Equal Rights Commission, Anchorage Police Department, Congregation Beth Sholom, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Federal Bureau of Investigation, First Alaskans Institute, Islamic Community Center of Alaska, Municipality of Anchorage, NAACP Anchorage Unit 1000, Polynesian Association of Alaska, Transgender Leadership Alaska, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Alaska, and Welcoming Anchorage invite you to a free forum facilitated by the United States Department of Justice Community Relations Service, for diverse communities, faith-based groups, and non-profit organizations understanding the state of bias and hate crimes, hearing from community members about challenges facing their diverse groups, and resources for the community in the aftermath of hate. The keynote speakers are Judy and Dennis Shepard of The Matthew Shepard Foundation.
