Please join Welcoming Anchorage, the Anchorage Equal Rights Commission, Bridge Builders of Anchorage, the Polynesian Association of Alaska, and the Alaska Federation of Filipino Americans, in a public forum about your rights.

Do you know what to do if stopped by the police of state troopers?

Who can legally ask you about your immigration status?

Guest speakers including our Anchorage Mayor, Ethan Berkowitz, Walt Monegan (the Alaska Department of Public Safety Commissioner), Mara Kimmel (Anchorage's First Lady and Co-Founder of the Alaska Institute for Justice), Robin Bronen (human rights attorney and Co-Founder of the Alaska Institute for Justice), Barbara Brink (criminal defense attorney), Katie Bisson (teacher specialist and parent liaison for ELL program with the ASD), and a representative from the APD will all help share information on these important topics.
